   Usually by phone, on the number you just confirmed, and usually sooner. A battery quote depends on your consumer unit, your meter and where the battery would physically go, so expect questions rather than an instant price.

3. You compare, and you decide

   You are under no obligation to any of them. Taking none of the quotes is a perfectly reasonable outcome and costs you nothing.
