By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

What we do, and what we do not do

We are an introduction service. We collect details about you and your property and pass them to up to three installers who are MCS-certified for battery storage and who cover your area.

We do not:

  • install, survey, design, wire or commission battery systems
  • employ or control the installers we introduce you to
  • act as agent for you or for any installer
  • provide financial, tax, energy or engineering advice
  • guarantee that you will receive a quote, or how many

Any contract for work is between you and the installer you choose. We are not a party to it, and we have no role in performing it.

Our checks, and their limits

Before an installer can receive enquiries from us we require them to hold MCS certification for battery storage and to confirm that they work to BS 7671:2018+A4:2026, including Chapter 57.

These checks are a filter, not a guarantee. We do not warrant the quality, timeliness, pricing or conduct of any installer, and certification held today may lapse. You should satisfy yourself about any installer before entering into a contract, including checking their certification directly with MCS and reading their warranty terms.

Information you give us

You agree that the information you give us is accurate and that you are entitled to give it. In particular:

  • The mobile number you give must be one you control. We send a verification code to it.
  • If you tell us you own the property, you must own it or be authorised to commission work on it.

We may decline or delete any submission we reasonably believe to be inaccurate, automated, or made without the consent of the person whose details are given.

What it costs

The service is free to you. Installers pay us a fee when we pass on an enquiry. That fee does not change the price you are quoted, and we receive no commission on any work you subsequently have done.

We do not rank or order installers in exchange for payment.

Information on this site

We try to keep the site accurate and current, particularly regarding regulations and VAT treatment, but standards and tax rules change. Nothing on this site is advice about whether battery storage is suitable or worthwhile for your property. We publish no savings estimates or payback figures, and you should treat figures offered elsewhere with appropriate caution.

Where we link to other websites, we are not responsible for their content.

Acceptable use

You may not use this site to submit false information, to submit another person’s details without their consent, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service, or to interfere with its operation by automated means.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for:

  • the acts, omissions, workmanship, pricing or conduct of any installer
  • any loss arising from a contract you enter into with an installer
  • any loss of profit, revenue, or anticipated saving
  • any failure to receive quotes, or to receive them within any particular period

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights that these terms do not affect. Nothing here is intended to exclude or limit those rights.

Changes and governing law

We may change these terms; the version on this page at the time you use the site applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
